Either photovoltaic or water heating solar panels can now be installed  on to most roof tops. Solar energy provides your buildings an opportunity of economic benefits as well as reduces your carbon footprint. This self-sustaining energy is an excellent addition to new buildings as weight specifications will be incorporated into the design of the roof. However, existing and restorative buildings will need to be assessed to determine if the extra load from the solar panels can be safely applied to the roof.
